Summary. Altro uses browser storage to run course access, lesson progress, and optional analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics loads only if you accept it when prompted.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. They help sites remember settings, keep you signed in, or understand how pages are used.

This Cookie Policy explains what Altro uses and how you can control it. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. Cookie categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for core site features — for example remembering that you accepted our terms, unlocked course access on this device, or saved lesson progress. These cannot be turned off without breaking functionality you chose to use.

Functional / preferences

Optional settings stored in your browser, such as dismissing onboarding tips or storing profit-tracker data locally. They improve your experience but are not required to read public pages.

Analytics (optional)

If we enable Google Analytics, it helps us understand aggregate traffic and page usage. We ask for your consent before loading analytics scripts. IP anonymization is enabled when configured.

We do not use cookies for targeted advertising, sell cookie data, or run social-media remarketing pixels on this site.

4. Manage your preferences

Clearing strictly necessary storage (for example altro_course_access) will require re-entering your access key. Clearing altro_terms_acceptance will prompt you to agree to policies again before using enrolled features.

5. Browser controls

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Common help pages:

6. Third-party services

When you interact with external services, they may set their own cookies:

  • Google Analytics — optional, consent-gated traffic measurement. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Payment processors (for example Gumroad or Stripe) — checkout and fraud prevention when you purchase Altro Complete.
  • Email providers (for example ConvertKit or Formspree) — subscription forms and delivery tracking when you sign up for updates.
  • Hosting / CDN (for example Netlify or Cloudflare) — security and delivery; may log IP addresses in server logs separate from browser cookies.

We do not control third-party cookies. Review their policies before completing checkout or forms.

7. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add tools, change analytics providers, or update legal requirements. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for new optional cookies.
